Third Regiment Infantry, Maryland Volunteers, Co. A
The Third Maryland is a Union Infantry reenacting group centralized in Maryland.  Our members come from various parts of the country to include Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and Ohio.

Our primary mission is the historical preservation of our nation's Civil War history and to honor our ancestors who fought and died during the Civil War to preserve the United States.  In pursuit of this goal, the Third Maryland participates yearly in a number of battle reenactments, educational forums, and living history demonstrations.

The Third Maryland is a member of a larger organization, The National Regiment.  The National Regiment is a battalion-sized organization consisting of various infantry reenacting units all committed to the preservation of our nation's Civil War history.  During large events, the Third Maryland frequently joins brother regiments from The National Regiment such as the First Maryland and the Seventh Pennsylvania Reserves.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our ranks!  If you are interested in joining Company A of the Third Maryland, have questions, or you would like additional information, please click on the Recruits tab or, email us at
